Ever since 1973, our loving ministry has helped children and parents cope with the changes and stresses of everyday living.
We are open 6:30am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday. We offer half-day, 3/4 day, and full-day programs. We serve children from 2 to 6 years old. All children must be potty trained.

We feel it is the right of every child to receive the best possible care and attention, as well as guidance to assist in his development to the highest possible potential. We strive to develop each child as a healthy, loving, whole person.
Our teachers have been selected because of their enthusiasm, experience, personal qualities and training which makes them particularly suited to Pre-School teaching. Our teachers have the educational background and experience in Early Childhood Development required by the state of California. Each staff member participates in continuous child development education programs and in Red Cross certificated in first aid and CPR.
Our program is carefully planned and supervised to meet the needs of the young child. We will be concerned with her mental, physical, emotional and educational growth. The basic curriculum of our Pre-School will include experience in:
OUM Preschool is licensed by the California Department of Social Services and is inspected annually.
The pre-school is also licensed with the Orange Counth Health Department and is inspected periodically.
May 25, 2011. at 5:00pm — OUMP Annual Spaghetti Dinner & Raffle. Every year the preschool puts on a fantastic dinner and has the best prizes for their raffle. This year is no exception. Some of the prizes for the raffle will be a 40" flat screen TV, a weekend in Arrowhead and much, much more. Raffle tickets are now on sale. You need not be present to win, but then you'll miss all the fun! If you'd like to help set up or clean up, please call the church or preschool office.
April 27, 2011. — Orangethorpe United Methodist Preschool would like to thank its many friends for coming to our Ruby's fundraiser today. We saw so many of you there at dinner and we know many of you were there at lunch as well. Thank you so much for your continued support!
April 2011. Our enrollment is up and we are pleased to welcome Lindsay Albright to our staff. Lindsay comes to us from Laurel HS in Los Alamitos where she earned many academic awards and worked in the infant care program at the high school. Lindsay is a student at Cypress College, focusing on general ed and psychology.
June 2010. Summer session is in full swing! The kids at the preschool are enjoying their summertime fun with water activities, special field trips and theme weeks. Your support helps fund these activities so please remember to bring in your aluminum cans, plastic bottles and used ink cartridges. Every donation helps provide the kids with fun activities.
