Palace of the King

When I go to the Father in the City of our God,
I'll no longer have to fear the heat or cold.
I will drink of the river that flows outward from His throne,
and I'll walk along the streets of purest gold.

And I will walk in the shadow of His wing;
and I will hear all the angels as they sing!
And the air there will be sweeter than the Garden of Eden,
when I dwell in the Palace of the King.

I will walk in the brightness of the light of God's own Lamb,
Where there's neither any night nor any day!
And the Lord fills the City with His presence all the time,
so I won't need any temple when I pray!

And I will walk in the shadow of His wing;
And I will hear all the angels as they sing!
And the air there will be sweeter than the Garden of Eden,
when I dwell in the Palace of the King.

All my friends whom I love so much will greet me when I come,
and we'll all join in the music of His Word!
We will sing all the praises of the Spirit and the Lamb,
all together in the city of our Lord!

And I will walk in the shadow of His wing;
And I will hear all the angels as they sing!
And the air there will be sweeter than the Garden of Eden,
when I dwell in the Palace of the King.
